You have to have a plan in order to be successful in any construction project – large or small.  Plans may include a full set of scalable architectural drawings, specifications, and a project manual or your plan may only consist of a detailed description of the scope of services you would like performed…

but if your plan is not on paper (in some form or fashion) your plan does not exist.
